“Reality always follows the path of dreams.”
– Taruho Inagaki, Mimikakushi no Kanata, 1925

What if it were possible to keep dreaming while taking photographs?

By recording scenes that overlap with fleeting memories, another world begins to surface.

“They lived quietly, and then, they came to their end.”

Those who are no longer here sometimes feel closer than when they were beside us.

I photograph what remains after their absence.

Fragments of images are rearranged, allowing only a trace of narrative to emerge before it becomes language.

Fragile images—like those found in dreams—are connected, and a faint world takes shape.

In that moment, I become aware of the sentiment within.

Photography is a device that awakens our memory.
