Heide Jenkins: Exquisite beadwork & embroidery

Heide Jenkins presents an exhibition of her recent beadwork and some magnificent retrospective embroidery.

Originally a qualified bookseller in Germany, Heide enrolled at the London College of Fashion to study embroidery under Margaret Nicholson for three years. Her work is in the Permanent Collection of the Embroiderers’ Guild and has appeared in many books and magazines. Since then she has specialized in beadwork and has won several awards in this discipline. She also went on to teach her subjects.

In addition, she will host workshops on:

August 30 & 31 – absolute beginners, make 2 pendants or necklaces.
Fee: 1,200 Sek (materials included)

August 25 & 26 – for students with some beading experience. Make a lace motif necklace. Fee: 1,500 Sek (materials included)
