Relocated her creative base to Bali 25 years ago, exhibiting as a Wearable Art artist with unconventional textiles in Japan, New York, and Jakarta through solo exhibitions and fashion shows.
1971: Graduated from Yamagata Prefectural Shinjō Minami High School
1975: Graduated from Bunka Fashion College
1999: Relocated her studio and residence from Japan to Bali
2020: Unable to travel to Bali due to the COVID-19 pandemic, opened the ‘Hosono Village Museum’ in Hosono Village, Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, with the village’s cooperation.
