Swedish weaving: life with woven textile

We at Yamanashi Hemslöjd enjoy the way that Swedish textiles add colour to our lives, and we enjoy thinking about what to weave next. For example, when we walk around town and find a lovely spot and comtemplate what kind of weave will go with it.

This exhibition invites you to see and feel how textiles can be used in your daily life.

Swedish weaving class at Yamanashi Hemslöjd 

– Wooden frame class in Omotesando or Denenchofu Studio 

– Weaving loom class in Denenchofu Studio 

Beginners can take trial lessons. 

6-month course for beginners starts in spring 2026 

Experienced-students can learn various patterns and techniques on demand
